March 31, 2005 - Accepting 12, 24, or 35 Vdc power, low noise dc Series MMP.LA-3 delivers up to 170 lb of force, and is available with stroke lengths of 50, 100, 200, 250, and 300 mm. Selection of output speeds are provided with gear ratios of 5:1, 10:1, 20:1, and 30:1. Lubricated for life, standard unit features built-in limit switches, non-rotating inner tube, aluminum outer tube, and corrosion resistance. Analog feedback potentiometer and IP65 protection are optional.

Compact, Low Noise DC Linear Actuator, the Model No. MMP.LA-3 Series


Midwest Motion Products of Watertown, Minnesota, is pleased to announce the release of a new COMPACT, LOW NOISE DC Linear Actuator, the Model No. MMP.LA-3 Series. Accepting 12V, 24V or 36 VDC Power, this DC Actuator delivers up to 750 Newtons (170 Pounds) of force, and carries it's load over a 50-300 mm stroke. Various stroke lengths available include 50, 100, 150, 200, 250 and 300 mm.

A selection of output speeds are provided for with a variety of gear ratios that include 5:1, 10:1, 20:1 and 30:1 Gear reduction ratios. The standard unit features compact size, quiet operation, built in Limit switches, a non-rotating inner tube, aluminum outer tube, enhanced corrosion resistance, and is
lubricated for life. Optional features include an analog feedback Potentiometer and IP 65 Protection.

The company offers a variety of standard ancillary equipment including multi-axis drive and control configurations, DC power supplies, DC servomotors and Gear Motors. Unique, totally sealed Motor Speed Controls are also available. Typical applications include Battery Operated Systems & E.V. drives, Medical, Mobility / Accessibility products, Robotics & Automation including Ordnance Disposal Robots, Semiconductor Processing Equipment, Military & Aerospace, Packaging & Labeling Machines, Metalworking Machines, and many other applications requiring precise motion control.
