Jaeger 'IMD3 Series' Linear Actuators From SKF Feature Rugged Construction and Corrosion Resistance

Jaeger® brand "IMD3 Series" electromechanical linear actuators from SKF® have been engineered to run quietly and deliver longer service life for a wide range of industrial actuation applications. Their enhanced corrosion resistance and rugged construction contribute to reliable performance even under the most demanding or harsh operating conditions.

IMD3 linear actuators (12VDC and 24VDC) weigh 1.5kg and can accommodate loads ranging from 120N to 1000N. Standard stroke lengths range from 50mm to 300mm. Full-load speeds up to 45mm/sec can be achieved, depending on load capacity and gear ratio. Their low retracted length suits applications where space may be minimal.

Their optimized design and construction includes aluminum outer tube, zinc allow housing, aluminum extension inner tube, powder metal gears, and built-in integrated limit switches preset at the factory. All models benefit from lubrication designed to extend service life.

Users can specify an optional potentiometer sensor and otherwise customize these actuators to satisfy particular application requirements. Full application support is available.

IMD3 linear actuators comply with IP53 and an optional IP65 version can be ordered.
