February 7, 2012 - Available in leading edge (incandescent) and trailing edge (ELV) versions, LED20W series is comprised of constant current dimmable drivers designed for LED dimming control from 100%-10%. Standard 14, 16.8, and 20 W models, featuring 100-277 Vac input and 7-40 V output, come in IP66-rated Black Magic Thermal Advantage(TM) plastic enclosures. Intended for OEM luminaires, products are designed for indoor and outdoor, general and architectural lighting applications.

New Line Voltage Dimmable Drivers from Thomas Research Products


Huntley, Illinois --- Thomas Research Products has introduced the LED20W family of line voltage dimmable LED drivers. Thomas Research Products is a leading manufacturer of SSL power solutions.

The LED20W family of constant current dimmable drivers is designed for simple dimming control of LEDs. They feature a 100-10% dimming range, and are compatible with industry-standard controls. Standard models include 14W, 16.8W and 20W. For ultimate dimming control flexibility, they are available in both leading edge (incandescent) and trailing edge (ELV) versions.

Input voltage ranges from 100Vac to 277Vac. Output voltage ranges from 7 to 40V. They feature TRP's Black Magic Thermal Advantage(TM) plastic enclosures, which are also IP66 rated--making them suitable for wet location applications. They offer over-voltage, over-current and short circuit protection with automatic recovery to keep luminaires performing. The drivers are UL Recognized for both US and Canada, and are CE certified. Most models are Class 2.

The LED20W drivers are designed for general and architectural LED lighting applications, both indoors and outdoors. They are intended for OEM luminaires.
