ASC-6X Lightning Strike Counter

Product Overview: Our new ASC-6X Lightning Strike Counter was specifically designed to monitor structures and outdoor equipment for the incidence of a direct lightning strike. The Lightning Surge Counter keeps a count of the number of times that your structure or equipment has suffered a direct lightning strike.

Performance: The design of the advanced circuitry of the ASC-6X ensures that the counting relay is not energized for low level current impulses and only records actual direct lightning impulses to the system. The system design uses no spark gaps or series impedance devices to prevent any chance of internal arcing within the unit thereby preventing any explosive failure in the event of a short circuit.

Construction Features: The ASC-6X Lightning Strike Counter consists of an advanced circuitry containing a rectifier, capacitor, and an electronic switching system which is connected to mechanical counting relay. The entire unit is packaged into a completely sealed injection molded case which is waterproof for interior or exterior usage. The unit has 2 mounting tabs for easy installation with screws or bolts. The sealed, clear view window allows easy reading of the 6 digit counter.
