December 14, 2004 - Providing protection from lightning and static discharge where dc voltage is required, GX Series Bias-T Protectors have weatherized housing and are available with N, 7/16 DINTNC, and SMA standard connectors. Series covers 400–1,200 MHz (CGX protector) and 800–2,500 MHz (DGX protector) frequency ranges and has surge capabilities of 8/20 µs @ 20 kA and 10/350 µs @ 10 kA. Return loss is above 26 dB, insertion loss is 0.1 dB max, and rf power is 300 W.

Multi-Strike Capability Lightning Protector Targets Applications Where DC Voltage is Required
Providing protection from lightning and static discharge where dc voltage is required, the new GX Series Bias-T Protectors from PolyPhaser feature low RF signal insertion loss for applications such as Tower Mounted Amplifiers (TMA), Tower Top Equipment (TTE) and GPS or active antenna systems.
Benefiting from multi-strike capability, low throughput energy and a fully weatherized housing, the Bias-T protectors are available with N, 7/16 DINTNC and SMA standard connectors. Surge capabilities in accordance with IEC 61000-4-5, 8/20µs at 20kA and IEC 61312-1, 10/350µs at 10kA are met.
The Bias-T Protectors GX Series cover the frequency ranges from 400 to 1200MHz (CGX protector) and 800 to 2500MHz (DGX protector). Return loss is above 26dB and insertion loss is 0.1dB maximum. RF Power is 300 Watts. Surge throughput energy is 25µJ for Bias-T and <175µJ max at 6Vdc to 2500µJ at 60Vdc (6kV/3kA 8/20µs). Peak let-through voltage is 10Vdc at 6Vdc to 80Vdc at 60Vdc (dc pass), (6kV/3kA 8/20µs).
