New Lighted ConnectGlowâ„¢ Connectors from Marinco Show that Circuits are Energized

Devices Feature Neon Bulbs That Are Visible for a Full 360 Degrees

A new series of 15-, 20- and 30-amp three-wire electrical connectors that light when a circuit is energized has been introduced by Marinco Specialty Wiring Devices.

Called ConnectGlowâ„¢ connectors, the new devices feature a neon bulb that is visible for a full 360 degrees. They also feature Marinco's unique Mag-Vuâ„¢ windows that magnify both the bulb as
well as the terminal connections for easier visual inspection. And ConnectGlow devices cost less than competitive products that use mono-directional LED bulbs.

Users of ConnectGlow devices know immediately if a circuit is energized because the neon bulb is energized, rather than having to perform time-consuming circuit testing. This is particularly helpful in applications where it is difficult to get to the connection point, such as drop cords or extension
cords, or where users might not be proficient in circuit testing. Applications include manufacturing plants, hospitals and television studios. With a ConnectGlow device, the user can easily see the circuit status and determine whether there is a problem with the circuit or with the apparatus that is being connected.

Another function is for monitoring connection status. With ConnectGlow devices, users can visually monitor a connection to assure it is maintained. Applications include those mentioned
above as well as locations where power might be prone to disconnection such as temporary taps at construction sites.

Building on over 30 years of application experience, Marinco's Specialty Wiring Device Division focuses on providing industrial OEM designers with fast-assembly, long-life electrical connections. All Marinco products are made in the USA and backed by a five-year warranty with a toll-free application engineering hotline.
