Electronic Phototimer
TORK's combination photocontrol + microprocessor timer fits an ordinary turn-lock photocontrol socket. The energy saving phototimer line (series 5717T) which turns outdoor lighting ON at dusk and OFF at various factory preset times during the night, is now expanded with the introduction of model 5737TM. This new unit also turns outdoor lighting ON at dusk but OFF at midnight. The OFF time can be adjusted for up to 2 hours before or after midnight and is used either for extra energy savings (i.e. earlier turn OFF) or to customize for various longitudes.
This "smart" new phototimer automatically tracks the dusk and dawn times as they vary with the seasons to determine midnight each day, automatically corrects for daylight saving time, and automatically resets its timer after power outages.
Wherever outdoor lighting should turn ON at dusk but is no longer needed in the middle of the night, TORK's 5737TM will offer efficient energy savings in a maintenance free and cost effective unit without the need for a separate time switch.
