Resists Heavy Wash down and Harsh Environment Applications
Leuze Lumiflex introduces their new IP 68 safety light curtain enclosures for heavy wash down and harsh environment applications. Pressure wash down applications have always been a difficult environment for light curtains to withstand. Now, Leuze Lumiflex has solved the problem with the introduction of their newly designed IP 68 protective tubes. The enclosures are crafted from extremely rugged lexan tubing and feature dual O-ring end caps that are constructed from FDA approved materials making these enclosures water tight and suitable for use in the food processing industry. End caps also include a 1/8" NPT fitting for optimal purge capabilities. The enclosures are easily mounted via the included stainless steel mounting brackets and are available for all light curtain sizes in the Leuze Lumiflex Compact or Compactplus light curtain series.
