Hendrickson Introduces the COMPOSILITE(TM) SC Steerable Compliant Series with Compliant Tie Rod and Dampening System Featuring PerfecTrak(TM) Technology

HEBRON, Ohio - Hendrickson launches the new COMPOSILITE(TM) Steerable Compliant SC series of lift axles. Reduced system weight, minimized package space and a flexible tie-rod are just a few features of the new innovated lift axle series. The development of the SC series further improves product performance and durability while offering owner-operators increased payload and reduced maintenance.

The COMPOSILITE SC will offer a full range of capacities including 10,000, 13,500 and 20,000-pounds to meet the industries' demanding requirements.

In addition Hendrickson has taken tie-rod technology one step further by introducing the patent pending Compliant Tie Rod (CTR) with PerfecTrak(TM) Technology - the first flexible tie-rod assembly and dampening system. This technology was designed to lower maintenance costs and increase uptime by providing a resilient impact resistant tie-rod assembly. In addition, the CTR system provides a robust self-centering mechanism and improved "driver feel" through the industry's first ever passive steer Ackerman.

The new CTR design with PerfecTrak Technology is covered by a three year warranty. As a key component of the COMPOSILITE SC Series, it is fully backed by one of the best comprehensive warranty packages in the industry and with a name you trust - Hendrickson.

In 2010 Hendrickson will complete the COMPOSILITE SC series full product line by releasing the COMPOSILITE SCT (Standard Truck Mount), COMPOSILITE SCW (Standard Weld-On Trailer Mount), COMPOSILITE SCO (Roll-Off Steer), SCR (Reverse Steer) and the SCH (High-Lift Steer) models.
