New Hood Lift Assist Retrofit Kit

LENEXA, Kan. - Lifting the pump station hood on the Smith & Loveless Classic Wet Well Mounted Pump Station just got easier with the new Hood Lift Assist retrofit kit. This newly developed kit installs easily. After installation, the operator will have no more than 30 pounds of lift at any point during the opening of the hood, which greatly assists pump station owners with concerns regarding lifting issues. And the operator still has clear access to all pumps, motors, piping and controls with its X degree hood opening.

The Hood Lift Assist retrofit kit comes with all shocks, brackets, labels, parts, installation instructions and installation templates the operator will need to install it. The actual existing hood dimensions allow operators to know where to attach the brackets to the base and to the hood using an easy installation template. There are two standard Hood Lift Assist retrofit kits - one for all two-pump and three-pump Classic Wet Well Mounted Pump Stations and the second one for all series Classic Wet Well Mounted Pump Stations.
