SDS (Soft Down Stay)
The SDS (Soft Down Stay) series lid support offers a quick and easy installation at your convenience and is also recognized by LGA for 30,000 cycles. Its compact design offers one-way rotary damper through smooth and soft downward movements. The SDS is non-handed and designed to operate at room temperatures from 0° ~ 40°C (32° ~ 104°F).
The SDS material is composed of steel, zinc alloy and plastic material. Sugatsune also provides them in two different colors such as black and white. Per pair, the SDS can hold up to 70-100 kgocm (60-86 lbsoin). This can be applied to various types of support systems such as a toy box operation as well as up-ward and downward openings.
