November 24, 2010 - Able to detect materials with densities as low as 3.12 lb/ft³, Model VHS is intended for bins with changing materials and where recalibration is to be eliminated. Rod probe design works with process temperatures up to 230°F, and optional design works with process material temperatures up to 320°F. Equipped with universal AC/DC power supply, fail-safe relay output, and ruggedized enclosure, sensor uses piezoelectric technology to create harmonic vibration in absence of material.

Model VHS Level Sensor Detects Lightweight Bulk Solids / Incorporates Universal Power Supply

Rock Falls, IL United States - "We are pleased to introduce our latest new product, the Model VHS Vibrating Element Solids Level Sensor" says Joe Lewis, Managing Director. The Model VHS is a level control sensor using piezoelectric technology to create its harmonic vibration in the absence of material. When material is present at its single element probe the vibration is dampened and the sensor relay output changes state to indicate material presence. The Model VHS is ideal for detecting lightweight materials, for bins with changing materials and where re-calibration is to be eliminated.

The Model VHS standard rod probe design works with process temperatures as high as +110°C (230°F), and the optional high temperature design works with process material temperatures up to +160°C (320°F). In addition, a universal AC/DC power supply, relay output that is fail-safe and the rugged enclosure with local LED indication of material alarm condition. Material densities as low as 0.05kg/dm3 (3.12lbs/ft3) can be detected.

BlueLevel provides Just Level service strategy. Just Level is designed to anticipate, meet and exceed the needs of BlueLevel Technologies customers and their industries bringing decades of process measurement and control expertise directly to the user.
