New 52" and 62" Steel Lathe Chuck Shields from Danray Products LLC

Safeguard Individuals for OSHA and ANSI Compliance

Rockford, Illinois -- Danray Products LLC offers 52" and 62" steel lathe chuck shields for lathes or similar machines. These heavy-duty 12-gauge steel lathe chuck shields serve two basic functions: (1) they provide a safeguard between individuals and point-of-operation or rotating hazards, and (2) they protect individuals from flying chips, sparks, coolant, lubricant, and other particles.

The mounting bracket attaches to the face of the headstock. The vertical shield hinges like a door, making it easy to change or adjust the chuck or workpiece. The operator doesn’t need to reach in close to the chuck when opening and closing the shield. The shield design allows the shield to be hinged either left or right, so the shield can be used on the front or back of the machine to safeguard the chuck.

These shields comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.212 and the ANSI B11.6 safety standard for lathes.
