Mitsubishi Introduces New High Performance NX Laser and Waterjet Technologies at Fabtech Booth #12117

Wood Dale, IL - MC Machinery Systems, Inc. will introduce its newest laser technology, the NX series, at Fabtech 2007. The NX is designed for speed, with resonators available in 4,000 and 6,000W.

Mitsubishi Laser revolutionizes the industry with the introduction new NX Series. The machine's new structural configuration allows increased G-force - giving it unmatched speed while keeping the highest possible accuracy. The new height sensor is twice as fast as previous machines, allowing for faster cutting.

Another of MC Machinery's newest technologies, Waterjet Powered by Mitsubishi Electric, will also be showcased inside the booth. Waterjet has a new level of programming sophistication.

The 4-axis Waterjet Suprema features Intelligent Tapering Control software, which automatically corrects the natural tapering of the cut. The CNC control inclines the water jet head up to ± 2 degrees while pointing the jet towards the cutting direction. This process allows for the optimum contour cutting speed while providing accurate wall straightness.

The NX and Waterjet series are both controlled on a Mitsubishi 700 Series Control, capable of achieving extreme accuracy and the ability to produce more complex parts. Dedicated Nano technology delivers unprecedented productivity and high-precision machining. The units are controlled on a 64-bit, PC-based, 15-inch touch screen display, with improved graphics and NC design to simplify operation.

Visitors to the Mitsubishi booth will also see demonstrations on several other machines and automation options from Mitsubishi Laser and Toyokoki Press Brake.

Since introducing the first laser cutter to the US market, in 1987, Mitsubishi Laser has occupied dominant positions in engineering, electronics, manufacturing and product development.
