New Calex Laser Sighting Tool for Non-Contact Infra-Red Temperature Sensors

Calex has developed a new Laser Sighting Tool for the successful "Pyro" series of non-contact infra-red temperature sensors.

There are two models to choose from: Model LSTL has a 20 x 1 mm mounting thread which is compatible with PyroUSB sensors and model LSTS has a 16 x 1 mm thread for PyroCouple and PyroEpsilon sensors.

The Laser Sighting Tool screws onto the front of the sensor during installation and indicates precisely where the sensor is aiming. Once the sensor has been aimed at the centre of the target and locked in position the Laser Sighting Tool can be removed. The laser is activated by means of a push button on the front of the tool which has a latching mechanism.

Both Laser Sighting Tools are made of anodised aluminium to keep weight to a minimum. They are powered by a single lithium ½ AA 3.6V battery, which is easy to replace at low cost.
