May 26, 2011 - Delivering 1.0-150 mW of output power with wavelength range of 635-1,550 nm, PNF Series features non-Gaussian line generators, variable focus technology, choice of fan angles, and CW or optional digital/analog modulation greater than 2 MHz. Modules are suited for variety of machine vision applications, including 3D profiling and mapping, dimensional scanning, high-speed rail and road inspection, web inspection, fluorescence, and illumination.

Power Technology Introduces Expanded PNF Laser Modules for Machine Vision


LITTLE ROCK, AR, - Power Technology, Inc. (PTI), a premier laser manufacturer and leader in the Photonics Industry for over 40 years, announced today that it is introducing an expanded line of PNF Series drop-in replacement lasers designed specifically for Machine Vision in 2011.This new line increases the available choices of structured light lasers designed for production efficiency, quality control and inspection.

For the last 40 years, PTI's laser designs have supported Fortune 500 companies in the biomedical, semiconductor, industrial, defense & security markets and are now bringing further design and manufacturing capabilities to a broader customer base within the Machine Vision industry.
