September 1, 2005 - Available in 635 and 650 nm versions, 150P Series features attached adapter that plugs directly into ac power supply and produces 6 Vdc for laser module. Additional features include Automatic Power Control with soft start protection, 3-element glass collimating lens with AR coating, and anodized aluminum housing. Offered with outputs of 3, 5, and 7 mW, modules operate over voltages from 4.5–9 Vdc within -10 to +40ºC temperature range.

New AC Adapter For Laser Modules

BEA LASERS, Elk Grove Village, IL, proudly announces the release of their new 150P Series Laser Modules with AC Power Adapters. With this AC Adapter, power for your laser module is as near as the closest AC source. The adapter plugs directly to an AC power supply producing 6VDC for the Series 150P laser module.

The 635 nm and 650 nm version of the 150P Series laser modules are available with outputs of 3, 5, and 7 milliwatts suitable for applications including alignment, event/edge detection, leveling, metrology, position, robotic control, and security usages.

The series features an Automatic Power Control with soft start protection, as well as a three element glass collimating lens with AR coating. Operating voltages range from 4.5 to 9VDC with 5V as the recommended rate within a temperature range from -10 to +40ºC. Housing is of a durable anodized aluminum. A green LED in the rear of the unit provides confirmation of laser emission.

BEA Lasers Model 150P, with its attached AC adapter, is available from stock at BEA’s Elk Grove Village, IL warehouse, and is currently priced at $225.00 each.
