Equipped with UV laser utilizing 355 nm wavelength, Accu-Lase V200 supports precision cutting of polyimide tubing and complex hole making as well as polymer marking. System handles ODs from 0.012–0.150 in. and input lengths from 5–72 in. Providing marking speeds of 5–1,000 mm/sec, machine features automatic mandrel insertion, vision system for viewing of process, and automatic feed from batch loading.

Syneo Announces Laser System, Support Services
West Palm Beach, FL- Syneo, the medical device solutions company, announced the integration of a new laser system into their product line of catheter and guidewire processing machines. The Accu-Lase V200 is a fully automated system that allows for greater process capability in polyimide tube cutting and complex hole-making, as well as polymer marking.
“The Accu-Lase V200 is the first of a new generation of Syneo machines. It combines Syneo motion control and handling expertise with precise laser material processing methodology for catheters and guidewires,” says Sebastian Ceballos, Senior Engineering Laser Specialist for Syneo. “Our advanced in-house knowledge allows us to provide medical device manufacturers with safe and cost-effective automated laser machinery and services that have low maintenance requirements and high manufacturability readiness.”
To assist customers with incorporating laser technology into their manufacturing, Syneo will be offering a full line of laser technology support services, in accordance with Six Sigma, to provide education and training, maintenance, service calls and repair.
