December 26, 2013 - Utilizing 12 ft wide screeding head and 16.5 ft telescopic boom, LS175 LaserStriker screeds 192 ft² per pass. System incorporates 59 hp Kubota turbo-charged diesel engine and heavy-duty auger plow powered by hydraulic system, which helps in maintaining grade for smooth finish, even when screeding low-slump concrete. With 360° upper frame rotation, it is possible to screed from all angles. Additional features include 35 gal fuel capacity and continuous elevation monitoring at 10 time/sec.

Allen Introduces the All-New LS175 LaserStriker


This new LS175 laser guided screed was engineered to meet or exceed today’s tough “F” number requirements for floor levelness while being the most effective laser screeding system in its class.  For over 40 years, Allen Equipment has set the industry standard for precision levelness, rigidity and durability.  The LS175 screeds 192 square feet per pass, utilizing the 12’ wide screeding head and the 16.5’ telescopic boom.  The LS175 incorporates a heavy-duty auger plow powered by a powerful hydraulic system which helps in maintaining grade for a smoother finish, even when screeding low-slump concrete.

Allen LS175 Laser Striker standard features include:


  • 59 HP Kubota Turbo-Charged Diesel Engine for more power


  • Accessible control panel so the operator is in full control


  • 360-degree upper frame rotation makes it easy to screed from all angles


  • Topcon Laser System with two independently mounted laser receivers.


  • Continuous elevation monitoring at a rate of 10 times per second


  • 35 gallons of fuel capacity allows the machine to run all day


  • Boom reaches over 16 feet in length, getting to those hard-to-reach places

The LS175 LaserStriker will be on display at World of Concrete ’14, Booth #030720, which will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center in January 2014.  Allen Engineering will also be exhibiting at the Rental Show (Booth #5973) in Orlando, Florida in February 2014 and at ConExpo (Booth #5024) in Las Vegas in March 2014.
