Unit provides pinpoint laser delivery for effective removal of polyps and adhesions, and features flexible tip for access of target site via cannula. Compatible with OcuLight TX laser, FlexFiber is available in 200, 300, 400, and 600 micron diameter fiber sizes.

IRIDEX Introduces New ENT Laser Delivery Devices at AAO-HNSF Annual Meeting


MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Oct. 1 /-- IRIDEX Corporation (NASDAQ:IRIX) today announced the introduction of FlexFiber(TM) a laser fiber probe intended for effective delivery of laser energy during ear, nose and throat (ENT) procedures. Introduced at the 2009 American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Annual Meeting and Oto Expo, this consumable product represents an increase in IRIDEX' presence in the ENT market, providing physicians with additional clinical applications and expanded treatment offerings.
