ID Technology Laser Coder for PET Bottles

ID Technology offers the IDT Macsa K-1000 Series 9.3 Micron CO2 laser, designed specifically for the coding of plastic PET bottles, guaranteeing crisp, clear, consumer coding information with excellent contrast. The 9.3 Micron CO2 laser creates a whitish mark by "foaming" the surface of the bottle, so not only is the mark visible with high contrast, but it all but eliminates the chance of material penetration and puncture.

Depending on the application, higher mark speeds using lower wattage lasers will be possible on PET with the 9.3 micron CO2 laser. The combination of 9.3 micron CO2 wavelength and our Crystal Font (Dot Matrix Font) is particularly effective for the high speed marking of PET.
