Other features include 5.118 in. spindle bore, heavy-duty tailstock and quill, powered top slide, 4-way tool post, and rapid traverse. Available with choice of digital readouts, completely sealed series also offers front keypad entry to facilitate operation.

Dalian Introduces CWM Series Large Swing Geared Head Lathes
DMTG North America (Dalian) has introduced the CWM Series of large swing geared head lathes engineered to provide great machining flexibility at an economical price. The lathes are available with swings from 40" to 63" and 60" to 240" center distances. All lathes have a heavy-duty, clutch-operated headstock containing massive, hardened and ground gears with forced lubrication to ensure precision and long life. The lathes feature a 5.118" spindle bore, heavy-duty tailstock and quill, powered top slide, 4-way tool post and rapid traverse. CWM Series lathes are available with a choice of Fagor, Newall or Acu-Rite digital readouts. The front keypad entry makes operation simple. All units are completely sealed to protect against dust, fluids or fumes.
Dalian also has introduced the CDS Series Geared Head Gap Bed Lathes with swings from 13" to 30" and center distances from 40" to 120" and the CWC Series Geared Head Gap Bed Lathes with swings from 25" to 40" and center distances from 60" to 240".
