Speed up Piece Counting with NewClassic Balance

Even though weighing is perceived as a straight forward process there is still great potential to improve weighing productivity. NewClassic MS Semi-Micro Balances perform on all counts: intuitive ease-of-use, speed, accuracy, long-lasting reliability. Due to built in applications such as e.g. piece counting and their clever ergonomic design operating time is reduced by up to 30%.

Speed of operation relates directly to the number of manual steps required to weigh-in and remove a sample. A balance with a conventional draft shield door typically requires 7 steps to a weighing result. The ErgoDoors on the NewClassic MS Semi-Micro balance let you use both hands at once and so reduce the steps required to just 5 - a saving of 30%. If you perform many weighing operations every day, the seconds gained with each one will add up to a sizeable period that can be spent more productively on other work.

Step 1: Open the draft shield with one hand and simultaneously place the sample with the other hand.

Step 2: Close the door.

Step 3: Read the result.

Step 4: Open the draft shield with one hand and simultaneously remove the sample with the other hand.

Step 5: Close the door.

Need for speed

The time savings don't end with a balance reading. There are also programmable SmartKeys for one-touch access to often-used functions. The result can be transferred to printouts or imported directly to a computer application without additional software, eliminating the time needed for transcriptions as well as a source of human error. And all this can continue working under less-than-perfect conditions in the laboratory (air currents, bench tremors, etc): NewClassic MS balances can be adapted to their environment with variable sensitivity for optimal stabilization time.

Quick and clean

NewClassic MS Balances encourage productivity even when they are not in operation. Take cleaning, for example: dismantle the QuickLock draft shield in a few short steps, then wash all glass panels and the drip tray in the dishwasher. Maintenance and service are also highly streamlined and can be performed on the spot. And for putting the balance back into service, the adjustable feet and clearly visible level indicator are located at the front for easy leveling.
