September 7, 2007 - Suitable as Lithium Niobate modulator driver, LABware Model 8001 integrates 12.5 Gb/s broadband amplifier, power supply, and front panel controlled amplitude and crossing point. Unit features max amplitude of 8 Vpp with 14 ps risetime saturated output. Integrating 10 kHz to 15 GHz low noise linear amplifier and power supply, LABware Model 8003 is suitable as photodetector output amplifier. It features 1 dB compression point of 13 dBm (2.8 Vpp) and ±3° deviation from linear phase.

New 12.5Gb/s Driver Amplifier and 15 GHz Linear Amplifier LABware Instruments


Picosecond is proud to introduce the Model 8001 and Model 8003 LABware amplifier instruments. LABware instruments are designed to be easy to use. Just grab the module, plug it in, and it is ready to go with no need for the hassle of power supplies and set-up. Keep a couple on the shelf and when you need a lab amp, you've got one.

The Model 8001 integrates a 12.5Gb/s broadband amplifier, a power supply, amplitude control, and crossing point control. 8001 product features include:

o Front panel controlled amplitude and crossing point
o Integrated power supply
o 12.5Gb/s driver amplifier or 12GHz linear amplifier
o 8Vpp with 14ps risetime saturated output
o Excellent as a Lithium Niobate modulator driver

Model 8001 12.5Gb/s Broadband Amplifier

The Model 8003 integrates a 15GHz low noise linear amplifier and a power supply. 8003 product features include:

o Integrated power supply
o 10kHz to 15GHz bandwidth with excellent flatness
o Low noise figure
o 1dB compression point of 13dBm (2.8Vpp)
o Low deviation from linear phase (±3 degrees)
o Excellent as a photodetector output amplifier
