Fujitsu Expands Printer Line with Standalone, Ultra-High Speed, Label/Ticket Printer
Sunnyvale, CA, - Fujitsu Components America, Inc. today added a 3-inch, standalone label/ticket thermal printer capable of output speeds up to 260mm per second. This ultra-fast, reliable throughput improves transaction efficiency in Point-of-Sale and unattended kiosk applications as well as in light industrial, manufacturing, laboratory, distribution and warehouse environments.
Designed for long-term, heavy-duty output, the FP-32L printer series is rated at 70 million lines, or 150km paper, and 2 million cuts. Measuring a compact, 128mmWx207mmDx145mmH, it occupies minimal real estate and can also be wall mounted for further space savings.
The printer supports paper stock ranging from 0.0750 to 0.150mm thick, making it suitable for a variety of ticket- and label-generating applications. It accommodates standard roll and fanfold paper from 25.4mm up to 83mm wide. The one-touch cover open and drop-in paper roll loading simplify operation.
The FP-32L prints 2-color output at 203 dpi (8dots/mm) resolution, allowing users to include custom logos and messages. It generates a variety of text, characters, graphics, and international fonts, in addition to 2D barcodes, such as DataMatrix, MaxiCode and PDF417. Compatible Windows® drivers are available for download from the website.
The printer's durable, splash-proof design meets IEC 60529 Level 2 specifications and also prevents dust contamination, making it suitable for use in wet and industrial environments. Standard features include a built-in, programmable auto-cutter; paper near-end and paper-end sensors; reflective and transmissive paper sensors for black mark; and a buzzer. An optional, supplemental paper roll holder accommodates up to 200mm-diameter paper rolls.
Several connectivity choices area available and all include a cash drawer kicker peripheral drive circuit. Standard interfaces include high speed Serial RS-232C; USB 2.0; Centronics IEEE-1284; dual USB 2.0 and Serial; and 10Base-T/100BASE-TX. In addition, the FP-32L is RoHS compliant and is designated a Fujitsu Super Green Product for its energy and resource saving design and reduction of CO2 emission throughout its lifecycle.
Available immediately, the FP-32L printer is priced at $378 each in 1,000-piece quantities. Delivery is stock to 14 weeks ARO.
