Fox's New 2.5-volt XpressO XO LVDS Oscillators Provide Low Noise, Wide Frequency Range
Fort Myers, Fla. - Fox Electronics, a leading global supplier of frequency control solutions, recently released the FXO-LC32 series LVDS oscillators as an expansion of the XpressO XO LVDS oscillators line. The new 2.5-volt XpressO crystal oscillators come in a reduced 3.2 mm x 2.5 mm package with stabilities as tight as ±25 ppm and feature industry-standard packaging, including footprint and pin-out.
The new XpressO oscillators come in a frequency range of 0.75 MHz through 1.0 GHz and offer frequency resolution to six decimal places. FXO-LC32 oscillators utilize a family of proprietary application specific integrated circuits (ASICs) designed and developed by Fox to significantly reduce noise.
Offering a breakthrough in configurable frequency control solutions, Fox's new 2.5-volt LVDS oscillators have reduced noise levels via the third order Delta Sigma Modulator (DSM) comparable to those of traditional bulk quartz and SAW oscillators. They also offer extremely low jitter of less than 1 pS.
With an operating temperature range of -20°C to +70°C or -40°C to +85°C, the fully RoHS and REACH compliant XpressO XO LVDS oscillators are ideal for a broad range of applications requiring an oscillator, including SONET, Ethernet, storage area network, fiber channel, test and measurement equipment, industrial controllers, microprocessors/DSP/FPGA, broadband access and others. The low cost oscillators are available in 1 to 2 days for samples and within 10 days for production quantities.
To reduce power consumption, the 2.5-volt FXO-LC32 oscillators offer a tri-state enable/disable feature that allows the user to turn off the output. The oscillator contacts are constructed with gold over nickel finish. Fox's patented serial identification system provides comprehensive traceability back to its original manufacturing lot to ensure quality control.
Pricing for FXO-LC325-312.5MHz XpressO oscillators is $5.27 in quantities of 10,000 pieces. Delivery for production quantities is 10 days ARO.
