Larson Electronics Releases Permanent Mount LED Spotlight with High and Low Voltage Capability

Larson Electronics has announced the addition of a new high power LED spotlight to its series of LED lights designed for heavy duty and professional applications. The PML-90LED-DP-120 90 Watt LED Spotlight produces a light beam reaching 2400 feet in length, features waterproof construction and high stability mounting, and can be operated with either 120 VAC or 12/24 VDC current for added versatility.

The PML-90LED-DP-120 90 Watt LED Spotlight is designed to provide operators with a powerful and versatile spotlight solution capable of withstanding demanding conditions and operation with a variety of voltages. This powerful LED spotlight features a heavy duty aluminum housing with polycarbonate lenses and control handle for extreme durability. The housing is IP68 rated waterproof to three meters of submersion, making it impervious to the effects of splashing water, driving rain, and high humidity. Mounting of the light is through a heavy gauge steel mounting plate with tensioned hinge assembly for secure and stable placement on flat surfaces. A single polycarbonate handle provides easy manipulation and the tensioned hinge allows the operator to adjust the lamp as needed, and then holds it in position once released without the need for lock screws or pins. Power for this LED spotlight is supplied through an included inline transformer that allows operators to run the light with standard 120 to 277 VAC current. Operators can also disconnect the transformer and run the light directly from sources of 12 or 24 volt DC current such as car or truck electrical systems for added versatility. This LED light contains nine ten watt LEDs and produces a light beam over 2,000 feet long in spotlight configuration. Buyers can also choose an optional floodlight configuration to produce a beam approximately 1200 feet long by 450 feet wide for more dispersed illumination over a wider area. This is a heavy duty spotlight intended for use in demanding conditions and is a popular choice among military and law enforcement professionals as well as personnel in the security industry.

“The 90 watt LED light is our most popular LED light, due to it range and power, so it makes an ideal component to this mounted searchlight application,” said Rob Bresnahan with Larson Electronics’ LarsonElectronics.com. “The PML-LED90 is applicable for standard voltages ranging from 110V AC to 277V AC and low voltage applications ranging from 9V DC to 50V DC, which makes it extremely versatile. With 50,000 life hours, unprecedented vibration resistance and high power light output, soldiers, boat operators and high end sportsman will find application for this LED light.”
