Model RL40 offers 360° of white illumination to eliminate shadows while using less than 3 W of power. Estimated lifetime is more than 25 years. Unit is supplied with set screws for connection to microscope. Included adapter supplies required 200 mA at 15 Vdc.

High Light Intensity LED Ring Light for Microscopes
Orled has developed the Model RL40, a low cost ring illuminator for inspection microscopes. It provides 360 degrees of white illumination to eliminate shadows while using less than three watts of power. Orled ring lights have estimated lifetimes of more than twenty-five years, outlasting typical fluorescent lights 5 times to 1, yet are equivalent in performance and comparable in cost. The RL40 is supplied with set screws for connection to microscopes. The ring light requires 200 mA at 15 volts DC that is supplied with the included AC adapter. The Model RL40 is available now for $361 for quantities of 1.
