Model RL52 ring illuminator for inspection microscopes provides 360° of illumination to eliminate shadows while using less than 1 W of power. Ring light has estimated lifetime of more than 25 years. It is supplied with threaded adapter ring for direct connection to microscopes. Ring light requires 80 mA at 12 volts dc to be supplied with included ac adapter.

Low Cost LED Ring Light For Microscopes
Orled has developed the Model RL52, a low cost ring illuminator for inspection microscopes. It provides 360 degrees of illumination to eliminate shadows while using less than one watt of power. Orled ring lights have estimated lifetimes of more than twenty-five years, outlasting typical fluorescent lights 5 times to 1, yet are equivalent in performance and comparable in cost. The RL52 is supplied with a threaded adapter ring for direct connection to microscopes. The ring light requires 80 mA at 12 volts DC that is supplied with the included AC adapter.
