Columbia Lighting's Serrano Goes LED

Greenville, SC: Columbia Lighting is excited to introduce Serrano LED, the latest addition to its advanced architecturally styled luminaire line. Serrano LED integrates high efficacy, superior color rendering, serviceability, and competitive pricing into one versatile fixture. As part of the createchange initiative established in 2007, Serrano LED exemplifies Columbia Lighting's commitment to maximum performance and energy savings. This latest incarnation of Serrano performs beyond expectations today and leaps forward with its sustainability into tomorrow.

Serrano LED employs the latest LED technology to deliver high efficacies up to 101 lumens per watt and a fixture life of up to 50,000 hours at 80% lumen maintenance. Low initial and operating cost make Serrano LED an excellent choice for savings without sacrificing function. A variety of controls are compatible with Serrano LED allowing further financial and conservation benefits by using daylight harvesting and occupancy sensors. Serrano LED may also be ordered with wiHUBB capability to easily integrate with Hubbell Building Automation's wireless mesh network.

Another impressive characteristic of Serrano LED is its ability to be upgraded as technology advances. The modular plug-and-play design allows for the components to be easily swapped out allowing existing fixtures to be renovated rather than replaced. The hinged design provides access to the modules for tool-less modifications. Innovation and environmental consciousness combine with this outstanding serviceability.

As with all Columbia Lighting solid-state technology luminaires, Serrano LED passes through a rigorous quality assurance assessment. To insure color consistency within a fixture, from fixture to fixture, and over the course of its life, each Serrano LED is tested to maintain a 3-step MacAdam ellipse. To properly illuminate complex visual environments including offices and classrooms, each fixture is also required to maintain a specific color temperature and the expected lumen output. If it doesn't pass, it doesn't ship.

The graceful design of the Serrano LED is enhanced with the choice between two aesthetically appealing lens options, suitable for any application.
