Larson Electronics' Magnalight.com Announces Addition of High Intensity LED Light Bar

The Magnalight LEDP10W-50E LED Light Bar from Larson Electronics' provides intense light output from a highly efficient and extremely durable unit that is capable of operating under extreme conditions. This 50 watt LED light bar is designed to resist the damaging effects of harsh environments and produces 4,300 lumens of intense light while using only 4.17 amps, making it efficient as well as powerful. Pulse Width Modulation technology and advanced LED drivers provide unparalleled control of heat and voltages and heavy duty IP68 rated construction provides waterproof protection to 3 meters.

The Magnalight LEDP10W-50E LED Light Bar draws only 4.17 amps at 50 watts from a 12 volt electrical system and is well suited to applications such as onboard marine lighting where managing power consumption is critical to maintaining safe power reserves yet effective lighting is required. The entire fixture measures only 4.68 inches long by 4.30 inches high, making this LED light bar compact enough to fit almost anywhere a light source is desired. Producing 4,300 lumens while using only 50 watts @4.17 amps, this LED emitter is far more efficient than comparable halogen lamps yet produces a clean and bright light output without any of the yellowish tinting associated with halogen lighting. Constructed of thick extruded aluminum with an unbreakable polycarbonate lens, this light bar is IP68 rated waterproof to 3 meters and sealed against internal contamination from dirt and dust. This heavy duty construction combined with a lamp assembly containing 5 CREE XLamp MC-E® LEDs results in a powerful unit that is highly resistant to damage from shocks, vibrations, and impacts as well as being weatherproof. This latest addition to Magnalight's Extreme series of LED light bars shares all the same traits of its larger extreme duty counterparts including Pulse Width Modulation technology for precise heat management and operational control, the ability to handle -40 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius temperatures, and the ability to run directly from any voltage ranging from 9 to 46VDC. The PWM technology used in the LED drivers of this unit also allow it to be connected to external dimmers and pulse controllers, giving operators the ability to operate these lights at varying brightness levels as well as operating them as flashing beacons or warning lights. This LED light emitter is available in spotlight or floodlight configurations and produces a light beam 525 feet long when in spot configuration. The heavy duty design and high power of the LEDP10W-50E LED light bar makes it ideal for boating, military, and law enforcement use as well as commercial applications where lighting equipment is often exposed to abusive conditions.

"The LEDP10W-50E is designed as an industrial grade LED light with 5 CREE XLamp MC-E® LEDs and integrated PWM technology for dimming," said Rob Bresnahan with Larson Electronics' Magnalight.com. "This LED light is really designed to replace common 5 inch square halogen and HID lighting on heavy equipment. Built to mining equipment specifications, this 5 inch square LED light produces 4300 lumens and will easily surpass 50 watt HID and 500 watt halogen models in light output."
