Available in polished and matte chrome, aluminum LED Standoffs for Signage and Displays consume .4 W per unit and output 40 lm. Concept utilizes acrylic or Plexiglas sign holders to which standoffs have been affixed as medium to diffuse backlit illumination to mounted graphics, posters, and promotional messages. Six cool white (6,000K–6,500K) LEDs are integrated in between body of standoff and its screw-on, flat cap. CRI of 70 with beam spread of 120° promotes accurate color representation.

Outwater Introduces its LED Integrated Standoffs for Signage & Displays

Outwater [Outwater Plastics Industries, Inc. + Architectural Products by Outwater, LLC] introduces its new series of LED Standoffs for Signage & Displays, a novel concept that utilizes the acrylic or Plexiglas sign holders to which the Standoffs have been affixed as the medium to diffuse backlit illumination to mounted graphics, posters and promotional messages.
Comprising six diminutive cool white (6000-6500K) LED’s integrated in between the body of the Standoff and its screw on flat cap, Outwater’s 12-volt LED Standoffs simply plug into an available junction box via an included connecting cable, and derive their power from an optional power supply that can run up to ten LED Standoffs. Outwater’s low cost, energy efficient LED Standoffs consume merely .4 watts per unit, yet have a 40 lumen output with an approximate 10,000 hour bulb life. A Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 70 with a beam spread of 120° ensures accurate color representation without any hot spots for evenly balanced illumination.
Available in polished and matte chrome, Outwater’s aluminum LED Standoffs have a diameter and height of 1-inch, and can accommodate panel materials up to ½-inch thick.
