Emco LED Garage Luminaire

Emco Lighting has introduced the Emco LED Garage luminaire (ELG). This new LED product is a ceiling mount or ceiling pendant mounted garage luminaire. Like all Philips Gardco and Emco LED luminaires, the ELG was designed around the LEDs to better manage heat and LED life. The ELG housing design provides extruded aluminum integral thermal radiation fins in the upper housing, combined with lateral air ways, to provide the excellent thermal management so critical to long LED system life. This unique design prevents debris build up and aides in extending the life of the luminaire and the LEDs.

Lensed LED arrays are set to achieve an IES Type V distribution. Unlike many LED luminaires in the marketplace today, the ELG contains individual LED arrays which are field replaceable. This makes repairs easier and less time consuming. The ELG is available with an optional diffused acrylic lenses, which limits perceived luminaire brightness, enhancing safety for both pedestrians and drivers.

Another unique feature of the ELG is that it uses the same mounting plate as the Gardco GP1, making it ideal for retrofitting. Mounting design permits simple retrofit at existing parking garages that utilize the Philips Gardco GP1, and were installed with the same Quick Mount Plate System. Retrofitting to the EMCO ELG can take as little as ten minutes per luminaire, resulting in labor savings. Philips EMCO LED luminaires feature a 5 year limited warranty.

o Significant energy savings over Metal Halide

o Lateral airways provide thermal management and extend life of luminaire and LEDs

o Type V distribution

o Fully field replaceable LED arrays

o Uses same mounting plate as GP1, making it an ideal retrofit
