New LED Data Loggers for Cold Chain Applications
Alarms and Traceability Portals Prove Your Best Practices to Receivers
CHESTERLAND OH — CAS DataLoggers is pleased to announce the release of new upgraded versions of its LED cold chain data loggers. These recorders give drivers a quick way to do a temperature check: just tear the strip off the logger to start it. Bright LEDs and alarm lights show whenever your product’s temperatures are OK, Below or Over so there’s no way to make a mistake. Now drivers can carry proof of your best practices to give to receivers on delivery--a big benefit at a low cost.
Our I-Plug USB Temperature data loggers and USB Temperature and Humidity dataloggers help you keep tabs on your perishable products with new LED features showing you both logger and product status at the push of a button. This way drivers can instantly see if the loggers have been put in Start Delay mode, if the logger has been stopped, and if there’s been a temperature excursion as shown by the bright alarm.
Our I-Plug-Plus recorders have new features too—now these single-trip dataloggers allow multiple stops so that the I-PLUG+ becomes a multi-use logger. This means that the logger does not stop when plugged into a PC but you can bookmark several times. This is a unique feature giving more life to the logger and enabling you to monitor your cold chain all the way to the last receiver.
Using their adhesive pouches, it’s easy to place these compact data loggers onto product pallets and just leave them to record on their own. This simple precaution saves drivers the time of having to do manual temperature checks. Each I-Plug-Plus datalogger has a 5,000 sample memory and year-long battery life to keep recording on long hauls, and users can set the sample rate to take a reading anywhere from every second to every day. Users can quickly set alarm limits that watch for violations all trip long.
It’s easy to display your product’s entire temperature and humidity history on PC by using the built-in USB port on each datalogger—no USB drivers required! Using the FREE software, it’s just as easy to send your data online where receivers can view it upon receipt and get proof that your product stayed in specification all trip long. Additionally, our software’s traceability portal tracks your data for you, giving further evidence of your best practices, and we also offer specialized food and pharma-certified models for regulatory needs in these industries.
