Intelligent LED Darkfield Ringlights from Schott-Fostec, LLC

June 5th, 2001 - SCHOTT-FOSTEC, LLC, introduces intelligent
LED Ringlights for Machine Vision and Industrial-OEM applications. The ringlights were designed with a patent-pending technology to detect intensity and temperature fluctuations for continuous feedback and failsafe system operation. Other exclusive features include a matrix plate heat sink to dissipate heat buildup for improving light output and extending component life as well as a matrix circuit design for maximizing reliability through isolating failures to individual LEDs.

Included in the line are a standard 3-ring LED ringlight, a darkfield ringlight and a diffuse dome ringlight to give the user a variety of lighting solutions. The ringlights are driven by controllers that offer dimming, remote on/off, strobing (overdrive mode) and warning indicator lights for user-friendly operation. The Pro LE controller and Ultra LX interface have constant current output for improved light output stability when compared to non-regulated voltage output.Furthermore, the lightheads can be driven with software via the Ultra LX Interface. This is beneficial for users who wish to write their own program to utilize the continuous feedback features designed into the lightheads.

In addition to ringlights, SCHOTT-FOSTEC offers a spotlight that
comes with a diffuser and coaxial adapter and a 2 x 2 backlight.
Other accessories for these products include polarizing filters and NEMA 5 rated protective windows.

All LED standard lighting products are built with red LED's and
custom color options are available including white, blue, yellow, and green in addition to UV and IR wavelengths. Modified and custom product configurations and sizes can be manufactured for unique lighting requirements.
