Designed to independently control up to 64 LEDs requiring 20-80 mA, 1031-PhidgetLED-64 Advanced comes with 12 Vdc, 2 A power supply and LED cables. Unit features max forward voltage of 5 V, brightness changes at 700 updates/sec, and LED On/Off at 3,000 updates/sec. Plug-and-play unit is programmed using API supported under Windows 2000/XP/Vista/CE, Mac OS X, and Linux. Users can write programs in Visual Basic, VB.NET, C#, C/C++, Flash/Flex, Java, Labview, Matlab, ActionScript 3.0, and Cocoa.

CALGARY, Alberta, - Phidgets Inc. released today the 1031 - PhidgetLED-64 Advanced; the 1031 replaces the popular 1030 - PhidgetLED-64.
"With our previous product we had solved the ease of use issue but with support for a limited types of LEDs. The 1031 supports Blue, UltraViolet and White LEDs on top of the Red, Orange, Yellow and Green LEDs that worked with the 1030." says Chester Fitchett, CEO of Phidgets. "We are also providing better brightness control". Added Chester.
