May 19, 2011 - Day Vu(TM) Display Series products offer typical display luminance of 850-1,250 nits and, when used with optical filters, are suitable for marine, military, and industrial applications. Ranging in size from 4.1-24 in. diagonal, fully customizable displays can be configured with touchscreens, anti-reflective cover glass, transparent heaters, and EMI/RFI shielding. They can also be optically bonded to optimize impact resistance and contrast.

Dontech Introduces Day Vu(TM) High Bright Display Technology


Los Angeles, CA - Dontech, Inc. has introduced Day Vu(TM) high brightness display enhancement technology, a new development in its Enhanced Display Services (EDS). The Day Vu(TM) Display Series is a fully customizable product line that includes LED-backlit, actively enhanced displays for direct sunlight readability. Day Vu(TM) enhanced displays, in conjunction with Dontech optical filters, provide reliable, bright and efficient operation for marine, military, and industrial applications.

Dontech Day Vu(TM) Series displays offer a typical display luminance of 850 to 1,250 nits and range in size from a 4.1" to 24" diagonal. Dontech can configure the Day Vu(TM) Series displays with touch screens, antireflective cover glass, transparent heaters, and EMI/RFI shielding (ITO coatings or conductive grids). In addition, the Day Vu(TM) Series displays can be optically bonded by Dontech using its proprietary IMO-bond(TM) optical bonding process to improve impact resistance and contrast.
