September 29, 2008 - Operating from 1,680-1,985 MHz with tuning voltage of 1-10 Vdc, Model V604ME08-LF features typical phase noise of -99 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset and tuning sensitivity of 56 MHz/V. Unit delivers typical output power of 6.75 dBm at 9 Vdc supply while drawing 22 mA over temperature range of -40 to 85°C. Housed in MINI package measuring 0.50 x 0.50 x 0.22 in., RoHS-compliant oscillator is suited for fixed wireless and portable radio applications.

V604ME08-LF Features Low Phase Noise


SAN DIEGO, September 18, 2008: Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new RoHS compliant VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) model V604ME08-LF in L-band. The V604ME08-LF operates from 1680-1985 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 1-10 Vdc. This VCO features a typical phase noise of -99 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 56 MHz/V.

The V604ME08-LF is designed to deliver a typical output power of 6.75 dBm at 9 Vdc supply while drawing 22 mA (typical) over the temperature range of -40º to 85º C. This VCO comes in Z-Comm's industry standard MINI package measuring 0.50 in. x 0.50 in. x 0.22 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The V604ME08-LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
