L-Band VCO: V582ME09-LF Features Ultra Low Phase Noise
SAN DIEGO, July 18, 2008: Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new RoHS compliant VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) model V582ME09-LF in L-band. The V582ME09-LF operates from 1000-1040 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0.5-4.5 Vdc. This VCO features a typical phase noise of -108 dBc/Hz @ 10KHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 25 MHz/V.
The V582ME09-LF is designed to deliver a typical output power of 0 dBm at 5V DC supply while drawing only 12 mA (typical) over the temperature range of -40º to 85ºC. This VCO features typical 2nd harmonic suppression of -15 dBc and comes in Z-Comm's industry standard MINI package measuring 0.50 in. x 0.50 in. x 0.13 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The V582ME09-LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
