Wilson® Instruments Offers the Automatic 400 Series Knoop/Vickers Testers

Versatile Design Guarantees Accurate and Dependable Hardness Testing

Wilson Instruments, an Instron company and the originator of the Rockwell® Hardness Tester, offers its 400 Series of Knoop/Vickers testers with Minuteman ELT(TM) automatic traversing and reading options. Providing an affordable, dependable automatic microhardness testing solution, Wilson's 400 Minuteman ELT Series is ideal for fully- or semi-automatic Knoop and Vickers testing of metals, ceramics and other non-metallic materials.

Featuring standard automatic turret and eight dial-selectable test forces ranging from 10 g to 1000 g (with optional 2000 g available), the system can easily be set to the proper test configuration. Equipped with crisp optics that have a total magnification of 100x and 400x, measurements are automatically made through the high-resolution USB digital video camera system. Productivity and efficiency is increased due to the elimination of time consuming, stage and eyepiece manual intervention typically associated with high quantity pattern testing. Fully-automatic stage provides 100 x 100 mm travel for multi sample testing. The 400 Minuteman is ASTM and ISO compliant.
