May 28, 2009 - Designed for motion control industry, RE209 and RE210 kit encoders feature axial or radial orientated shrouded connector to protect contacts from inadvertent short circuiting. Including incremental channel resolutions from 100-5,000 ppr, units provide ABZ outputs and commutation signals for 2 or 3 phase motors.

Introducing the New RENCO RE209/RE210 Kit Encoders


GOLETA, CA - (May 15, 2009) - The new RENCO RE209/RE210 Kit Encoders bring state-of-the-art features and performance to the motion control industry in a new package. These encoders measure only 9.7mm tall, while maintaining industry standard mounting points. They include a shrouded connector which protects the contacts from inadvertent short circuiting, and which can be ordered in axial or radial orientations.

Now distributed and available through parent company HEIDENHAIN Corporation, the RE209 and RE210 encoders provide ABZ outputs and commutation signals for two or three phase motors. Incremental channel resolutions from 100 up to 5000PPR (20000CPR) are available.
