Hoyt Announces New HW Series, Kilowatt Hour Meters Single and Three Phase


PENACOOK, NH - February 8, 2005- Hoyt Electrical Instrument Works announced the immediate availability of the HW Kilowatt Hour meters. Round and LCD Rectangular models available.

Round meter is available in 0-200 Amp only. The HW-HLD-06, Single-phase Electromechanical round KW meter is a socket type meter designed to meet the latest ANSI C 12.1 standards. Starting at $60.00 in 100 lot quantities with an availability of 2-3 weeks. This meter has a built-in CT and the average service life is 30 years. The meter measures active energy in single-phase two wire or three wire alternating current power grids.

The LCD Rectangular KW hour meters (various model/part numbers, please call to get exact number) are available with various amp and voltage inputs. Ranging in price from $455.00 to $940.00 and available in 2-3 weeks, these rectangular meters comply with the international standard IEC 61036 and accuracy class is 1. Featuring high accuracy and reliability, it also prevents the illegal action of pilfering electricity. The reliability an service life of the meters have been greatly improved by adopting large-scale integration (LSI) and SMT as well as long-life key components of international brand. With external CT's, the meters have a solid structure and long-life running. Provided with pulse output, the remote control detecting of consumption locale is available.
