New Joystick-Type Articulated Videoscope

Medit Inc. presents a new videoscope with 4-way articulation.

Medit Inc.'s Joystick type Video Borescope Systems are great for a wide variety of inspections which require a small portable hand held unit capable of capturing images and video. The narrow 6.9mm diameter is great for industrial inspections, spark plug holes, or law enforcement inspections. The ability to articulate the tip 4-ways through a joystick makes a wide variety of inspections much easier to complete too. These JVBS Videoscopes feature a 1/6" CCD Video Camera chip located directly in the tip of the insertion tube providing a high-resolution image with 410,000 pixels. The live color image is displayed on a 2.4" TFT monitor, and illumination of the inspection area is completed by 3 high intensity White LED lights located around the CCD Chip.

Additional features include a stainless steel braided tip to protection of the articulating portion, a WIDE 90 degree field of view, easy image and video capture to a micro-SD card for Future Reference or Client Claims, a 2.0 USB connection and RCA Video output to export the live image to a TV monitor, or computer/ laptop.

To assist your inspections all JVBS Videoscopes come with 4-way, 90 degree, tip articulation controlled by a joystick. Operators can easily rotate a full 360-degree circle or navigate corners etc. JVBS Videoscopes are available in either a 1.5 meter (5'), or longer 3.0 meter (9.8') length, and power is provided by either the power adapter or 4 AA batteries, capable of powering the unit for 2 hours of portable use. Rechargeable batteries can be used for longer inspections.
