Integument Technologies Offers Joint and Crack Tape Sealant System as Replacement for Chemical Resistant Caulks

Tonawanda, N.Y. - Integument Technologies, Inc., a science-based developer and manufacturer of engineered fluoropolymer systems of linings, films and coatings, announces the availability of the FluoroGrip® Joint and Crack Sealant System, a highly chemical and temperature resistant method for sealing joints or cracks in concrete.

The system consists of FluoroGrip® Joint Tape, a fluoropolymer-based (Teflon®) tape manufactured with advanced technology, plasma activated pressure sensitive adhesive for "peel-and-stick" ease of use. The tape is the ideal replacement for traditional chemical resistant caulks to protect against corrosive/reactive liquids leaking into expansion, control joints and cracks in concrete and other materials. The FluoroGrip® Sealant System stands up to the widest range of harsh chemicals such as organic and inorganic acids, aggressive solvents and more.

FluoroGrip® Joint Tape offers the superior reliability of a fully fluorinated material and is elastomeric, to 330% elongation. It features temperature resistance to 450°F and provides excellent ozone and weather resistance. The system is easier to install than traditional sealants for reduced labor and installation costs, and there are no VOCs and/or hazardous solvents, so it is safer to use.
