Installed in pipeline, Ashcroft® Type 80 or 81 keeps pressure instruments safe from clogging. With process medium contacting only flexible inside wall of isolator, pressure is translated through liquid fill to sensing device atop ring. Needle valve can be incorporated to dampen effects of pulsation, while exclusive Safe Quick Release™ option will permit harmless, leak-free removal of instrument for calibration or maintenance while system is still under pressure.
