SCOTCHMAN® Introduces New 50 Ton Ironworker

Scotchman® Industries is pleased to announce the new 5014 CM Ironworker to their Metal Fabricating Solutions. This machine has heavier capacities and more features than the previous model, including 50 tons of pressure and the ability to punch a 13/16†hole in 3/4â€, 1-1/4†in 1/2†material and up to a 2-1/4†in 1/4†with a 4†x 6†die holder. The 5014 CM is made in America with many standard features and equipment including a keyed punch ram to assure safe and positive alignment, adjustable stroke control, electrical box supplied with
emergency palm button and lock-out tag-out accommodations, 230/460volt 3 phase electrics, all guards necessary to comply with ANSI B 11-5 standards, and forklift accommodations. The
5014 CM comes standard with an angle shear that will shear up to 4†x 4†x 3/8†at 90º (distortion free) and both legs of 2†x 2†x 3/8†at 45º. The flat bar shear can shear 3/4†x 4â€, 1/2†x 6â€, 3/8†x 8â€, 1/4†x 12†and 3/16†x 14â€, with optional saber blade capacities can be increased to 1/2" x 10â€,
3/8†x 12†and 1/4" x 14â€. We have lowered the rake on the flat bar shear, thus decreasing, if not eliminating distortion of the material being cut. The 5014 CM has a component tool table design and the ability to accept optional equipment, such as the 8†or 12†press brake, rod shear, square tube shear, picket tools and pipe notcher, in addition to special tooling which is also available.
