With photo library, FastPic5 Order Processing Software helps organizations optimize accuracy in storage and retrieval operations. Operators can see photographs of individual items to use as visual verification, minimizing mispicks and raising accuracy levels to 99.99%. Each time part is selected for retrieval, software automatically displays thumbnail of item, which can be enlarged with mouse click. NEW FastPic5 Photo Library Improves Productivity and Accuracy in Operations
The new photo library of FastPic5 Order Processing (OP) inventory management software from FastPic® Systems helps organizations improve productivity and accuracy in storage and retrieval operations.
With the photo feature, operators can see photographs of individual items to use as visual verification, reducing mispicks and helping raise accuracy levels to 99.99%. Each time a part is selected for retrieval the software automatically displays a thumbnail photo of that item. The photo can be enlarged with a simple mouse click.
The photo feature allows even more detail to be included in part identification, such as indicating how one part or item differs from another. This feature can be used to visually verify stock keeping units (SKUs), increasing operator productivity by eliminating the need to verify part numbers.
The photo library feature is useful in assembly, cycle counting and quality control applications and any storage and retrieval operation. Seasonal and temporary workers often have the most problem learning how organizations run operations, the FastPic5 software helps operators easily learn processes while improving productivity and accuracy.
The photo library feature is standard on FastPic5 OP software. The software is designed to manage manual and automated storage and retrieval systems including shelving and rack, pick-to-light, horizontal and vertical carousels and Vertical Lift Modules (VLMs). It can manage a single workstation or networked for use in multiple work zones. Configurable host integration allows for fast and easy installation.
