FastPic5 OP Software Provides Advanced Inventory Control for Operations
New FastPic5® OP software from FastPic Systems offers users advanced inventory control features for improved tracking, validation and traceability.
FastPic5 software provides inventory management through advanced inventory control parameters such as FIFO, lot handling, serial number tracking, expiry date handling, release and production date tracking. The system is also flexible and allows the operator to define their own inventory control parameters thru a user defined qualification field.
The advanced inventory control functions of FastPic5 software allow for multiple lots or serial numbered items to be stored in the same location and for items to be combined in the same location. Upon retrieval, serial and lot numbers can be recorded for tracking, traceability and improved picking accuracy. Dedicated locations for kits and fast moving items can be set up using the software, and completely random locations can be established for improved cube utilization. Real time inventory status and detailed management reports provide complete documentation of all transactions.
FastPic5 OP software is designed to manage manual and automated storage and retrieval systems and can be configured to handle single workstations and multiple work zones. The standard interface protocol provides an efficient link between host order entry systems and FastPic5 software, as well as many WMS and ERP systems. Advanced cubing algorithms in the software allow users to maximize the use of both floor space and storage space.
