Jinvani Systech Launched SD Gold Host - MINI to Enhance New Generation Embedded CPU Based Application.
Santa Clara, CA - Jan 11th, 2007 - Jinvani Systech, The developer and manufacture of world renowned SD/SDIO testing product and development platform, announced industry's first dual slot SD/SDIO Gold Host MINI. SD Gold host MINI is miniature version of very popular Jinvani SD Gold host card to target microcontrollers / microprocessors / SoC / FPGA application market. This module provides an easy to use memory mapped IO interface to connect any 8/ 16/ 32 bit bus interface connectivity capability. This new product named "SD Gold Host MINI" also support ATA interface to provide access to SD flash memories. This module comes in small form factor (2.2'' x 2.3'') and provides a simple Board to board connector to connect with existing board as plug and play module. The module can support up to 8 GB (two 4GB SD memory) SD Memory. The main feature of the ATA interface is boot capability and high performance UDMA 6 support. Flash based hard disks are more reliable then mechanical interfaces and provide better throughput and performance. The Module supports High Capacity, High capacity SD cards up to 50 MHz.
