Current Analysis Unveils CurrentCOMPETE 3.0(TM)

STERLING, Va., Oct. 20 -- Current Analysis today announced the launch of CurrentCOMPETE 3.0(TM) - a revolutionary new service combining timely, actionable competitive intelligence on the telecommunications, IT and infrastructure software industries with tightly integrated, industry-leading research tools.

CurrentCOMPETE 3.0(TM) allows users easier access to Current Analysis' unique tactical competitive analysis and makes it easy for users to create customized competitive dashboards to track companies of interest, as well as create side-by-side company and product comparisons.

"CurrentCOMPETE 3.0 was created to ensure all Current Analysis users benefit from easier, more personalized access to the competitive intelligence and advice they need to win business," said Robert Norberg, Vice President of Product Development and IT.

Useful in any competitive situation, tactical competitive analysis is especially valuable in today's challenging economic conditions. "Any research firm which has tactical information that can help produce or close sales should be in a better position (to help clients during these times)," said Louise Garnett, Vice President and Lead Analyst at Outsell, Inc.

Some of the primary benefits of CurrentCOMPETE 3.0(TM) include:

-- Easier access to specific analysis: A new browse manager allows users to aggregate analytical information by company, by market, by analyst or by industry hot topic. Users can choose the browse option that works best for their specific intelligence-gathering needs.

-- Easy-to-create dashboard views of all analysis: Users can now view all Current Analysis intelligence pertaining to any one company or one market area, in a single dashboard view.

-- New graphics help users get to more information with fewer clicks: Each of the dashboard views has more graphics including an at-a-glance view of analysts' ratings of companies and products and improved visibility of the customizable and powerful company-compare and product-compare function.

-- Personalized access to pertinent analysis: CurrentCOMPETE 3.0(TM) allows companies to create consistent home pages for all of their users including company-specific information.

-- Enhanced search capability: CurrentCOMPETE 3.0(TM) also includes an improved search capability by adding the ability to filter search results by market or by report type.
